RAID / SATA Drivers for Intel Server Board SE7525GP2 and SE7320SP2

I have an older Intel Server Board with the models SE7525GP2 and SE7320SP2 listed in the Title.  When I try to install Windows Server 2003 Standard 64 or 32 bit, I get the message "File \Windows\MegaIDE.sys caused an unexpected error (18) at line 2335 in d:\srvrtm\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.  Press any key to continue" after typing the F6 key and copying the driver off of the server deployment toolkit for the SE7525GP2 and SE7320SP2 that I had kept from an earlier time.

I made a floppy disk and copied off 7 files to the floppy including MegaIDE.sys which is 165KB and a system file.  I have three other files named MegaIDE that are a file type, security catalog, setup information type with 1 KB and 2 are 10 KB respectively in size. A file called NODEV which is 1KB and a TXTSETUP.OEM file of 2 KB complete the files contained on this disk.

BIOS version is SE7525RP20.86B.P.04.00.0018 dated 9/21/05.

This is an old server system that I want to use as a local storage point for a video productions class.

Any ideas?

Windows 2003 has been EOL for over an year now. There can't be ANY reason to install an unsupported OS. Install an OS that is still supported, like 2008 Server or if the CPU's are 64 bit, 2008 r2. If you don't want to buy those OS licenses, then install Linux. For example Zentyal server is very good and very easy to setup, and the development version is free.

I agree with you and know that 03 is not supported.  I just had an older server board that I couldn't put the newer server 2008 or 2012.  I had 03 server software and was just looking to put up a simple application server to accommodate a handful of video production students and not use our 2012 or 08 AD servers.  I already own the license for it.  Thanks.
If it uses 32bit only CPU's, you should still be able to install the 32bit version of Windows 2008. Or of course Linux. If it uses 64bit CPU's you should at least be able to install 2008r2.
