I have a DD2200 at one site and DD620 at another site.
Have replication license but I'm not sure if they can replicate.
Do they have to be the same model to cross-replicate?
My DD2200 is 90% capacity. The DD620 is about 60% capacity.

No, they do not have to be the same model. I have done cross-site replication between different ones. However, it sounds like space could be a problem depending on the size of each one with one being 90% full and the other being 60%. My secondary has always only been a replication target. It sounds like your other one is not.
