Dell R230 server - use BIOS or UEFI boot?
We are a very small shop and I am not as experienced as some on server work.
Setting up Win 2012 R2 on a Dell R230 server with H730 PERC, running RAID 1 with 2x 525gb SSDs.
I've choosen bios to boot the system, is there an advantage to UEFI? About the only thing I saw on a quick search was being able to use GPT on drives to allow partitions over 2 GB which isn't important to me.
Thanks for any advice! Easier to change things now vs. once it's in production.

Great help! Thank you.
I agree with Dr. Klahn about increased protection against tampering. I agree with Rindi that GPT is not part of UEFI. Since we only use Windows servers, the limitation that UEFI only allows Microsoft does not hamper us.
