Does deleting 'google drive' apps from our iPhone also deletes photos from google drive cloud?

We noticed that the Google Drive apps within the iPhone is taking up almost 3gb (see pix).  We were going to delete the apps from the iPhone and reinstall since it's size only around 100mb.

We decided on deleting the apps because it seems the fastest way of going about freeing up storage space in the iPhone (regarding to this apps).

That said, does deleting 'google drive' apps from our iPhone also deletes photos from google drive cloud?
(we googled for the answer but can't seem to find link that assures us it won't delete from cloud)

Have a look of the link above first.

Then, try to change some offline files to online and see whether the storage consumption have been reduced.

Checked out the link but no info if we uninstall the apps what will happened with those 3gb data.

Is there a link that says it would not delete data if uninstalling the apps? (we just want to make sure)

No.

It is just a cached content so that you can access when you are offline.
Yep.

We checked out our apps in the phone and the offline is empty, so what is those 2gb data?

Also tried to search anything with "cached content" if related to "offline files" or at least a link that says we are not going to loose any data if we uninstall the apps.

Go to https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive on a computer.
Look at your storage that is being used.  It is most likely email that is using up your Google Drive storage space.  Like how my Google Drive storage is using 2gb of data.

Our google drive via web says it has exactly 2gb being used.  Our concern is not the actual google drive contents, our concern is the storage within our iPhone.  In the mobiles storage area ('Settings >> General >> Storage & iCloud Usage >> Manage Storage') is displays that it has 2.6gb in 'Document & Data'.  We assumed that this value is related to some sort of data within the mobile since in our google drive is exactly 2gb.

We want to make available to us that 2.6gb space and the only we came up with is deleting (or uninstalling) the apps and installing again.

We have seen that you guys say that this is a "cache contents" but is there some info link regarding this issue we are concern about? If we delete the apps, is the data in the google drive also deleted?

The answer is 'No' to "backup the content on your iPhone into your Google Drive" (we don't use it).

Ok, so you say we can delete or uninstall the apps?
