Close Print Preview button not active

I have a report that when opened on one computer has the Close Print Preview button on the ribbon not active.  It is active on other computers.

Print preview is depending on Print Spooler service.
Make sure you have printer spooler service running and you have at last one printer installed on this computer.
I assume you are using the same copy of the report.
Can you reproduce the issue, with a new report, on the same machine?

Creation of a new report works fine.   But ????  Why?
Creation of a new report works fine.   But ????  Why?
May be a corrupted report, during copy.
Try:
compact and repair.
Import the report from first machine to second after compact and repair.
Copy database from second machine back to first to different directory.
I just discovered something and maybe I'm the last to know.  The report that hasn't been working correctly was imported from an old mdb database.  When I redesigned it the report behaves properly.

But will this old report work on other machines?
If it does, then we are back to square one.
If it does not, then it is a corrupted report.
All I know is that the report copied over from an mdb database works fine on all but one computer.
works fine on all but one computer.
Clean this computer, by reinstalling the operating system.
You may move an image from one computer to this one.

If you can afford it, trash this computer.
Developing a new report from scratch did the trick.  Thank you.
