Updating Exchange Virtual Directory.
Hello,
I am in the process of migrating from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016.
Things are coming along quite smoothly so far. However I do want to confirm one thing. I am using the following document step by stem: http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-2016-articles/migration-deployment/migrating-small-organization-exchange-2010-exchange-2016-part1.html
I am in Part 4 with the next step to "Updating Exchange 2010 Virtual Directory URL's".
1.This document has been very good and I am quite confident that this is a necessary step. However, could you please verify?
2.What exactly does this step do?
3.In this step "EX1401" would be the Exchange 2010 server correct? (Which of the 2 Exchange servers should this be?)
4.Like previous question, if this is the Exchange 2010 server, should it be the Exchange 2010 Mailbox server or the Exchange 2010 Client Access/Hub server?
5.Just to be safe, how can I check the current settings that are going to be modified?
6.What can I do to check and ensure that the changes have taken place successfully?
7.What could the potential problems be when I run these commands? Any additional precautions or checks that I should take?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you Tom.
Which of the 2010 servers should this be? I imagine that it should be the Hub/Client Access server, not the mailbox server.
