asked on

need a script to alert when there are delta vmdk's building on the VM's

can someone provide a script we can use to monitor our VM's and detect if there are delta vmdk's that are not committing after a veeam backup job?

we have encountered this several times, where we need to run disk consolidation because there are over 100 VMDK [delta snapshot files] from the veeam backup job that have not been committed.

thanks in advance

Use vCheck Daily report, you can configure it to tell you how many days a VM has been on a snapshpt, and also email you. You can also enable many other Health Warnings that maybe helpful to check on a daily basis, before you get into the Office!
