Deleting Unselectable Lines in Word 2013

I have a Word doc that has two lines that appeared without my knowledge, and I am not even able to select them to delete them. One line is horizontal and one is vertical.  The Word file is attached.

I've searched a fair bit and found some tips I tried, but I can't seem to get it to work in my version of Word, i.e. Word 2013.

What are the steps to delete these lines in Word 2013?

Thank you.  It's not a template, it's a resume I was using but deleted most of it in order to post here on EE.

I did not even have the Page Borders item in page layout.  I had to customize the ribbon, add a custom group, and then add the Page Borders.  Annoying, but it got rid of both the horizontal and vertical lines.

Thanks!
