unable to unmount datastore/ re-add host

Hello All,

I am having an issue where a host was in an HA cluster having some issues. I attempted to remove the host from the cluster and then re-add it back. Upon trying to re-add, I get the first message that a data store conflicts with an existing data store in the DC. This is strange in that the data store it references is a local data store. I go to unmount it so I can add the host back and then remount the data store later but then I get the prompt of confirming unmounting. I browsed the data store in question and see no evidence of and virtual machine remnants.  Should my next step be to delete everything out of the data store folders and then unmount, then attempt to read back to the HA cluster. Your feedback is appreciated.

Thanks.

Go to list of datastores, select this datastore, look for virtual machines tab.
There should be one like swap file or something.

Following Haresh's link, i get to the point to try to recreate the file system and get the following errors. You can see that it is unmounted and i have the correct mpx. Thoughts?

gheist,
It is not allowing me to delete the disk from vsphere. should i attempt to delete from cli?
With one-line screenshots I dont have clue. normally you can delete any volume but boot disk.
We had a work around. We were currently running to separate vcenter servers and decided it was time to consolidate. we put hosts into maintenance mode, removed from second vcenter, and then added to the first vcenter and recreated the cluster.
