Norton 360 deletes Gmail Backup Tool installation file..how to turn off?
I have Norton 360, and it deletes the downloaded installation file from http://www.gmailbackup.org/
This file is completely safe, I believe, and I turned off the firewall, re-downloaded the file and it still deletes it. How can I stop this? I'm spinning my wheels!
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I removed Norton and am trying out Panda! Thanks!
It is just a believe. You need some evidence, I think. From the description of the software, I notice that it can obtain your Gmail credential and I will not give my Gmail credential to anyone.
I have lookup the domain hosting the setup-gmail-backup.exe file and the only info I obtained is that it is hosted by a software company called "CoreDataTree Technology Pvt. Ltd.".
Other than uninstalling Norton 360, you can try to file a false positive report to Symantec to see whether it helps.

I have tried to file a false positive report to Symantec and cannot pass through the URL submission check.
Anyway, I have submitted the same quarantine file to Symantec via SEP v14 client.
If I were you, I will wait for feedback from Symantec first.
