Exchange on iphone
Hi,
My boss has an exchange account on his iPhone. He asked me if it is possible to just delete email on iPhone but keep it on the server. So when he is back to the office, he can still review these emails. Is it possible? I thought being using exchange is so all devices can be in sync. Thx

That is what I thought. But he insists he could do it on blackberry.
Well, yes. You can delete email on a Blackberry and say delete on phone only. I had a Blackberry and I could do that. Not on an iPhone though.

If you are syncing mail on the iPhone normally, deleting mail on the phone will delete mail on Exchange. It is supposed to work this way and does in our environment.
Emails yes, right, but only if he is using active synch. He can delete account without giving harm on mailbox

Thanks for replying after the question is closed. Can you select pop even the account is exchange?thanks
I have asked a Moderator to unaccept my answer. Get your CEO to break Active Sync and use POP and he / she will be away to the races.

I agree with John Hurst's comments, and I hope POP is the best solution here according to his requirement.

No need to delete on iPhone as it is just a mirror of Exchange.
