Changing Comments author in Word 2010

I am running Word 2010 and as have a document that was given to us in this format.

One of my colleagues has reviewed the document and made changes using the Review > New Comment feature

His initial was A, therefore all Comments have "Comment [A1] : xxx" text.

I'd like to review too, however I want the final document to have Comments in the format:

"Comment [MyCompany]" format, rather than individuals.

Is this possible?

  1.    On the Review tab, in the Tracking group, click the arrow next to Track Changes, and then click Change User Name.
  2.    Click Popular.
  3.    Under Personalize your copy of Office, change the name or initials to use in your own comments to MyCompany.
You can only do this if you change the personalization as noted above. But this affects all Office apps for that User/machine

Thanks - but that won't affect changes already made by my colleague, only mine?
Yes. You have to do this beforehand
Agreed. Once a document has comments the authorship does not change retroactively
Ok so what can I do to amend the previous author's user name?
Use original document and make changes that other person made whilst your name is changed
As we both noted you can change the authorship but that just affects new comments. I see this in Word documents.

Re-reading my snippet, I notice that line 3 is redundant.
