Trunk Port

I have a switch the is 48 ports all ports are gig ports, there are also 2 10 gig ports.

If I have another switch is same config can I create a trunk between them?

I'm thinking yes, but just want to confirm.

Thank you

Yes. You can always stuck switches together using any 1 GB ports and also 10GB ports but for 10GB ports probably you going to need special wire or Fiber Optic cable.
I don;t know what kind of switches you have, try to check in manual.
As long as it is a Managed Switch, you should not have any issues with Trunk Port. Is it a Cisco Switch?

I do already have the switch config with VTP, and currently I have port 24 trunk and working...
I just wanted to know my other options.

Thank you for all of your help
Trunking is possible.  Just be aware that not all 4948s are 10G-capable though, not that it matters where trunking is concerned.
