I am creating a new email profile for a user and I get this "There was an error locating one of the items needed to complete this operation. It might have been deleted."
I have uninstalled MS Office and I did check for mapisvc.inf file and it's not there because I wanted to delete it.
Can anyone help or maybe suggest something.
Thanks in-advance

Try running Outlook as Administrator for the initial configuration

I did that and still it doesn't work, I think this has something to do with the users profile because if I use my profile on the same PC outlook works fine and I can access my emails.
If all else fails, delete and recreate Outlook profile. If that doesn't work recreate Windows profile.

Thanks for the advise but seems like nothing is working at the moment.
What have you done so far to troubleshoot? We wouldn't want to offer suggestions that you have already tried.

Hey
I used his email account on the outlook web app and it worked then I had to enforce the group policies then restart his PC and His outlook worked .
Thanks for the comment and you can still give me some troubleshooting tricks that can help in the future.
