DHCP Server Service stops on SBS 2011

Hi Experts

Wondering if you can give me any suggestions about the following: After 4 years of working perfectly, the DHCP Server service on a SBS 2011 stops all the time.
There is an event in the System Event Log:
Event ID: 1053

Description: The DHCP/BINL service has encountered another server on this network with IP Address, fe80::68ab:bf2c:85fd:98bf, belonging to the domain: .
I understand that this usually happens when there is a rogue DHCP server on the network. I have not changed anything in the last couple of months. So I need to find out where that "thing" is.

This IPV6 address can be converted to Mac Address: 6A:AB:BF:FD:98:BF
But I cannot find the vendor for this MAC address.

So, now I am stuck. What else can I do to find the root cause of this issue, any suggestions???

Hi,

Have you installed any wireless router, switch, firewall or enabled the DHCP role in it? DHCP service crashing due to another rough DHCP server is available in the network. Check the devices and find out the problematic device, you can use this useful tool to detect rough dhcp in the network https://www.symantec.com/connect/downloads/detect-rogue-dhcp-servers-network

PS - I hope you have already taken the DHCP backup, if not, take backup of the dhcp and troubleshoot the issue.
