Samsung TAB S upgrade - just showing SAMSUNG
Yesterday I agreed to Samsung's invitation to upgrade the firmware on my wife's TAB S. All seemed to go well but on a reboot it hung on the word SAMSUNG. I left it all night but, although plugged in, all that did was drain the battery (the Samsung power pack does not quite supply enough power to run the unit). Since then I have tried rebooting, clearing the cache and rebooting several times but it gets hung at the same point. Is there anything else I can do?

Tried that but it stops at the SAMSUNG
Ok,
Last ditch effort would be to put it into recovery mode which is home and up, when you get in there you should be able to flash it to a new ROM

That's a video guide for you, you should be able to get a new ROM online from an android site.

Thanks for the suggestions and comments. Made me realise that the best thing I could do is get it professionally fixed. $49 later and it's like new.
Turn it on whilst holding the home button and the Volume Down I think it is.
