Ransomware and encrypted backups
Hi all,
With all the craziness about ransomware going around, I have a question:
Many backup programs will enable you to encrypt your own backups with a password.
If you take this extra step, does it afford you a measure of protection against malicious code that tries to encrypt these backup files?
Thanks in advance.
