Where Do I Find The License Code for Remote Desktop User CALs in Windows Server 2012r2?
A few years ago I purchased a retail pack of CAL's with a total of 50 licenses that are set to never expire.
I'm trying to move Remote Desktop CAL's from one Windows Server 2012r2 machine to another.
On the NEW server that I'd like to move them to I've been able to get to the "License Code" entry, an entry of five sets of five numbers. This is in the "Manage licenses Wizard".
Where can I find this License Code on the old server to bring it over to the new one?
Thanks for your help!

Yes, it turns out that just about all other efforts are fruitless unless you have that five set of five digits.
The links that Elingo sent were good, but different instructions for 2k12r2. Great for any Server type before that release.

You need to Server ID of the source and the Target to complete the process.
