HP Pavillion 23-b034 All in One Will not connect to WiFi
I need help getting my wifi up and running on my HP. My husband said that he click on an email and then later he found that his computer Internet connection was down. I have checked the WIFI connection only to find that the computer is not detecting any network connections. There is nothing. I have tried to locate the drivers but, I ran a scan on the computer from a USB port where I found that the Intel (R) Adapters are missing. Can someone help me find and connect to the Network Adapters for this Computer? The Ethernet connection is not showing up in the Network & Internet on the Control Panel. Can someone help me?
Try install new WiFi drivers from HP website

Your computer is not fully supported by Windows 10 so maybe some Windows 10 updates has overwrite your original WiFi driver and network card just stopped working.
Post results.

Tom provided the link for the wireless, and here is the link for the Ethernet card: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/soft paq/sp6650 1-67000/sp 66681.exe
Usually Windows 8 drivers will work with Windows 10 as well, assuming that you've upgraded to it.

The ralink network adapter has an error of operating system requirements 9998. x64. Do you have this one?
Did this machine come with Windows 10? The ralink driver I can find is Windows 7

It says that the folder is empty. In the device manager, I see a Realtek Family Controller and a bunch of WAN. I do not see a relevant network adapter. I downloaded the Ethernet Adapter and Network Adapter and both failed to download onto the Computer. Can you help from here?
ASKER
No, it did not come with Windows 10.
ASKER
Yes, I found the ralink drivers I found were the same. I found them on the HP website. What other options do I have?
Do you have Windows 10 by chance? That error simply means you have the wrong version of Windows. (It does a precheck before starting the included installer)
You may be forced to install directly through the Device Manager, which John Hurst provided direction for. When you look in there, do you see the two network devices (wireless and ethernet)? If so, could you please tell us what you see? Like a yellow exclamation point...

It says that the folder is empty. I do not see anything ethernet or wireless.

I am looking for the yellow explanation mark. Can you give me specific directions to get to the x or !? So, that I am correct that I am going the right direction.
ASKER
No, I do not see any of that. I ran a test this AM where they told me that the Intel (R) Adapters were missing. Do I need to find these Adapters?
If you do not see network adapters where I pointed you to (this is where you located them), then the adapters may have died (hardware issue)

Also, I see the WAN Miniports everything is missing.

There is nothing I can do but take it in?
If there were cards installed (even not working properly ) they would show up in Device Manager. I think at this point it needs service.

Thank you.

Thank you. I understand, now. I saw the ethernet this AM. It is now gone.
Thanks and good luck getting it fixed.
What is the state of the network cards in Device Manager (OK, Red X, what?)
