Active Directory Domain Services RDP blocked after installation Windows 2008

After install Active Directory Domain Services the RDP connection stooped. Now we saw in a page that usually happens because AD replace the login information. Is ok that. Now the server has Windows 2008 R2 64 bits and our host provider is in other USA state and we only can have control via RDP but like it is not working then we contacted the ISP and they old us by their end they saw the server rebooted some times and then the OS made a check disk. Now the host provider say the OS is like fried they can´t access. The question is a simple installation of this could fried the OS. And the question also here how can be fix this is there a way to try to rescue the situation or what could happen?

Thank you

Installation DCS should not destroy OS, but you never know if went smooth.
You should see System and Application event log

If they can;t access server there is not much to do.
Ask them to restart server (force restart if necessary) and press F8 button few times in process of booting.
If they will get startup menu ask them to Run Safe Mode with Networking.

Try maybe you going to be able connect, if not ask them to send you log files for analyze .

PS, since some reboots happened, ask them to send dump files as well.

Ok I´ll say to them to see what happened the most strange and I forgot to mention is that all the www domains, webpages, ftps are working perfectly if this is dead nothing will work no? If you access a FTP hosted in that server is working and if you access any page also is strange no? What could happen?

Something strange happened there. After request the files and dumps you suggested and claim a control to the server with IPMI keyboard video and mouse. Suddenly they enabled the rdp port in firewall. I never knew why they said the server OS was fried when I could see ftps and webpages and after request dump files they fixed the rdp. And what I heard is AD block ports of rdp after installation and that is what they fixed but they wanted to re install OS by fortune I asked to give me that files and they fixed. Thank you
