Using VMWare Snapshot as Cisco UCM backup method
We are running CUCM 10.5 as a VM on a UCSC-C240 - eight of these. It seems like I should be able to snap shot a UCM VM from one of the ESXi to another. But each is managed individually. If there was failure on one ESX it seems like it would be far faster to restore from a snapped copy of the VM residing on another of the ESXi than rebuilding UCM on the failed box and going through the DR Restore routine.
What would be required to put all of the members of the cluster to be managed by one vCenter? Does backup/restore in this way make sense?
