EIGRP STUB

In the DIagram Below, if the Network 1.1.1.0/24 is not available then BR1 and BR2 will not be queried about it since they are EIGRP Stub.

OK..that 's clear...
if we configure HQ1 as Stub , then other 3 routers will not also query HQ1 when 1.1.1.0/24 is not available. Correct ?
if that's the case then, why not configure all 4 router With EIGRP Stub, so that if they have any Network behind them that is not available, the other 3 routers will not send queries about the lost route(s) ?

Any clarifications will be very much appreciated

Thanks

I have added The Diagram now
What happens if the link between HQ1 and HQ2 goes down and you need to get from HQ2 to 1.1.1.0?

HQ1 and HQ2 , will go through BR1 or BR2
Now if BR1 and BR2 are configured as stubs.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/12_0s/feature/guide/eigrpstb.html

When a router is configured as a stub, that means we won't use it as a path to networks that aren't connected.

I want , in the case 1.1.1.0/04 Network fails, HQ1 will not query any other routers for the lost route.
how can I achieve  that ?
I haven't played around with this specific topology, but it is my understanding, that if you were to configure HQ1 as a stub, it would not send a query if the 1.1.1.0 net went down.

Have you tested this?

Actually I did ..and did not see any query on the Wireshark for that Network 1.1.1.0/24
This is why I asked if we can configure all 4 Routers as Stub. in this case when a Network behind a Router goes down the Router will not query other routers about it..since there is no path to it from other routers.

I have seen scenarios where they use Summarization. but I am not sure why they just configure the router as Stub.

most of the examples I have seen, they  talk about other Routers do not query the stub routers if the Network behind the stub Routers is lost.
They do not talk about the Stub router itself if it sends queries to other routers when the Network behind the stub router is lost.

I guess I was wrong

so there will be queries

I believe the best practice is not to  advertise Network 1.1.1.0 to other routers
however you can create static routes on other routers to reach 1.1.1.0

with static routes to reach network behind a router, the route will stay in the routing table even if it is not reachable , so there are no queries and no updates....no need for stub or summarization........
after few tests,  the only option that I found it does not trigger update queries is the Static routes

I believe in the topology I posted , There is no way to do the EIGRP Query Scoping, since there are not more than 2 hops

I found this example, that I will try later on the LAB

do you have configuration example for EIGRP Full Mesh ?

for instance , like the topology above,,or real full mesh
