Charging Macbook Pro
Does anyone know if it is possible to charge the new Macbook Pro using a Google Pixel charger... both use USB C.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok, could it damage or weaken my MacBook battery.

I'm only getting 2 hours out of it... very frustrating.

A very slow charge might weaken the battery. Normally a battery is served well by getting a good charge.

How old is the battery / MAC Book. 3 years or bit more is the life span of a laptop battery and then it should be replaced

It's 2 weeks old... the new MacBook Pro.

If the battery only lasts 2 hours, visit the Apple Store and have the machine serviced under warranty. Using the wrong charger could void the warranty so don't do that.

Presumably if the laptop is off, you could charge overnight with the proper charger. You should still get the machine serviced.

A laptop or notebook is a portable personal computer with a clamshell form factor, suitable for mobile use. Although originally there was a distinction between laptops and notebooks, the former being bigger and heavier than the latter, there is often no longer any difference. Laptops are commonly used in a variety of settings, such as at work, in education, and for personal multimedia. A laptop combines the components, inputs, outputs and capabilities of a desktop computer, including the display screen, speakers, a keyboard, and pointing devices (such as a touchpad or trackpad) into a single unit. The device can be powered either from a rechargeable battery or by mains electricity from an AC adapter.
