Changing Antivirus for Corporatre Network
Hi Experts ,
I would like to ask you for the best Practice Plan (General) to remove Existing Antivirus with A new Vendor ... in terms of security , clean uninstallation for existing AV and smooth installation for the new AV ... Considering this process for both Servers side and Clients side.
regards

- Deploy AVs with latest definitions as part of installation
- After removing current AV devices are unprotected, new AV must be deployed ASAP
- Ensure client AVs can get updates from AV server so that it stays up-to-date
I had a slightly different order because some AntiVirus packages conflict and A must be removed before B (which makes it messy)

How do you deploy software now? Like if you were to upgrade MS Office across the entire company? I'd recommend your looking at SCCM or Quest Endpoint System Management.
I would go this way for as many as I could manage in a day.
1. Get the new AV on hand.
2. Uninstall the workstation AV using the Server tool for this purpose.
3. Uninstall the Server AV.
4. Install the new AV
5. Deploy it to workstations.
