I had created one script to create 3000 users for windows tablet users , what is happening is when script is running it creates exchange and AD side correctly both on resource forest and account forest side. but when it is configured on windows tablets the display address comes as @domain-hq.com instead of domain-retail.com though it doesn't impact any incoming or outgoing mail flow.

I checked email address of one tablet and it shows @ domain-retail.com as primary address but a bunch of other address ( because of email address policy) as well one among them is @domain-hq.com which we don't want to display as primary address, is there any way we can change the script .

please find the script.

do I need to change anything in cutom attribute as I want to create only 1 email address

you say Display Address and Primary SMTP address.
If you run get-mailbox TABLET | fl Name,PrimarySMTPAddress it shows @domain-retail.com?
where do you see @domain-hq.com ?

I get on exchange where I run above command I get primary smtp address @domain.retail.com but when configuring tablet display name comes as @domin-hq.com
