Flashing red status light on a Cisco 3702i access point

Can someone tell me what a flashing red status light indicates on a Cisco 3702i access point and if there is a fix.  I have two new AP's with this same issue.

Thanks
Chris

Typically that means that WLAN controller can't be found, or ethernet link not operational (for start check cables). Check interface status on switch, are speed and duplex successfully negotiated?

According to Cisco - Table 1 LED Status Indications - Blinking red - Ethernet link not operational

Craig, thanks.   Do you think its the switch port?
Hard to say without checking its config/status and checking the cable.
which WLC do u have in your network

it could mean that the AP you are using is not support with the firmware version you have on the WLC , updating the version of the WLC could resolve this issue.

Thanks
Flashing red LED doesn't usually mean that the code on the WLC isn't able to support the AP.

For clarity though, the WLC needs at least v7.6 code to support a 3702 AP.
