Internal network config
Ive been trying to setup and internal network between my laptop and a VM, but cant get communications working between them.
From my understanding I setup an internal switch through Hyper-V manager, I gave the physical servers Internal NIC an IP address 192.168.3.1 with subnet 255.255.255.0 with no gateway, and then setup the VM with an IP 192.168.3.2 with a subnet 255.255.255.0, however from my physical host I cannot ping 192.168.3.2, or access the apache server on the VM.
Ive checked the config, and everything seems ok from a config point of view. Ive even disabled all the other NICs on the physical host to check there isnt a routing issue, but still cant ping :-(
Any ideas what Im doing wrong?

I hang my head in shame, it was the firewall stopping it :-(
Try tracert -d 192.168.3.2 from host server and post output here...
