Is there anyway to update a current spreadsheet pulling from another tab whereas you reference to the existing formula in the current tab, and request to update with this formula but move three columns over from the tab its pulling from?
I've attached an example, please note, my file has a substantial amount of more data that I've removed. I need the data in the highlighted cell to be "N8" in the balsheet actuals tab. This concept would be applied throughout the tab for other updates. As I mentioned, my file has limited data. I understand you can use the $ "absolute" around your cell references, but this will not work in my case as the number of columns I will be jumping makes in not feasible. Also, I understand you can establish numeric values above the existing tab I'm needing my updates, and write a lookup, but there isn't any consistency for connecting.
