asked on

tv error in depth

On the TV I had to take back, it was like the images weren't straight. I could put in a DVD with a menu system where a bar or something ran across the screen and you could really see how warped it looked when it should have been a straight line. It was only slight so you didn't often notice but it would start wearing on you that images on screen were looking kind of odd.

that was answer to my tv error question

please tell me more about this tv error in depth.
maybe provide a screenshot (of similar error)

William Fulks gave that description so I am looking for more details of that description
Wow so much more details than your original question.
When you have posted a previous question on the same subject in future please state in your opening question " related question"
I see you have now posted a related link in that question, lol that question is closed so no need to post a related question as this is newer.
So now we know:
You bought the TV and took it back.

It was>

I dont have tv yet but I am considering buying
Samsung 49" Class 4K Ultra HD Smart LED Curved TV - UN49KU650D
what is everything that can go wrong
dimming screen. less pixels.
maybe more because tv is curved
What symptoms would I notice?
Tv less bright after days? Washed out colors?

The details are somewhat scattered, but when you're shopping for a TV in a shop usually they have them on display and staff around to ask questions.
If purchasing online look in feedback from users who have bought that particular model as not everyone can answer it.

I  am for example in Australia. And shopping here produces Australian stores.
To help you I'll use the global Amazon, they are listing this TV with user feedback.
there is 4 1/2 stars rated  out 5 stars so that is good>from  223 customer reviews  | 209 answered questions, these are clickable links you read up on.
These are great to find answers for you from people who have used it.

You bought the TV and took it back.
Actually, someone else (William Fulks) took it back.

It sounds as if this guy just wants us to tell him EVERYTHING that can go wrong with a TV set.

Well, it can catch fire, it can fall over and break, a meteorite can strike it, someone may throw a rock at it, a car can run over it, etc. Oh, and before I forget, each and every part of it can fail, either inside or outside the warranty period. So, if you're really unlucky, you may have to buy a new one.

As for UHD TVs, the main problem I see is getting video for it. Broadcast is no more than 720p, Blue-ray DVDs are only 1080p, and the number of 4K DVDs  available can be counted on one hand. Save your money and by a plain HD one. In 5 or 10 years the market will show you which way to upgrade. Remember 3D? I pity the people who bought one.
