Citrix Receiver Installation on Microsoft Surface

Hi

I am getting error: 'Microsoft.VC80.ATL,type="win32",version="8.0.50727.762",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86"'

when trying to install Citrix on a Surface.

I have tried multiple versions of Citrix, new and last two versions.  via www.citrix.com site

I have tried the Citrix Receiver via the Windows Store

Have restarted the device.

What else can I do to resolve this
??

Thanks ,

Looks like an issue on the Surface according to https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/error-1935an-error-occurred-during-the/7105ee7e-ab45-4bd2-b5db-a3e9002f7f9e

"If you receive a 1935 error when you try to install software, the Windows file system transaction log has become corrupted."

Try the fix in that link. I have Receiver installed on my Surface Pro 4 and have and had no issues.

Ahh, the infamous and completely useless error 1603. I would try the Citrix Receiver Cleanup utility and see if that helps remove all references to Receiver on your Surface.

you don't need an account to download this right?

Last time I tried googling Citrix cleanup tool and I clicked on the Citrix.com one it took me to a Citrix log on page

??
Not that I am aware of.
Looks like you do. You can create a free Citrix account. Not a big deal.
It appears the Citrix authentication stuff is broken right now. EE will not allow me to attach the zip file because it contains and EXE file.

Try this:

Cleanup Utility

Let me know when you have the file so I can delete it.
Thanks got the file.

However , still NOT installing.

Tried Citrix clean up
Cleared the transaction log with fsutil autoreset
Restarted computer
Tried to install Citrix , crashed again.

Retried steps above again .. same problem

Attaching error log I got this time..

How can I get this fixed?  This is a new device .. less than a year old.  Updates are done , security scans...
