Our Exchange Server 2010 is having Get-ExchangeCertificate issues

I am aware that my wildcard ssl cert has expired.  I am trying to renew this.  However, I get an error when trying to list the exchange certificates.  Basically it says "The exchange certificate operation has failed..."  Any ideas?

It seem that you tried to run get-exchangecertificate from remote server. Have you try to log on to exchange server and run exchange management shell as administrator and execute the command again
