Assuming you want me to load the .rdl ?  I'll load that and the Properties of the Image

Maintenance-LBC-Alt.rdl
Hi,

delete data file of rdl to clean change. [Maintenance-LBC-Alt.rdl.data]

I have tried with new rdl with this image it works smoothly.

Hope it helps!
Hi,

Did not work :(

Deleted the .data file and still produces blue border on my local machine. Also, how would I delete the .data file on the actual report server ?

Steve
ok, I now know the .data file is used in local development and doesn't exist of the server so scrub that Q.

However, removing the .data file does not resolve the issue on local and the issue also appears on the actual report server where no .data file exists.

Apologies for delay getting back to this....

Ok, I took Pawan's advice and created a new rdl just to test this in isolation. And guess what...it's the bleedin image that has the border ! What I didn't know at the time was that the image (a signature) had been captured on a pda and it was the image capture that had put the border on :(

What confused me was that by increasing the image border and making it white masked the actual problem.

Now that I re read Panwar's original comment I see that it was my misinterpretation of his question "are borders part of images ?" in that I thought he was asking me if borders were an attribute of images in reporting services...my bad !

thanks Admin for helping out too.
