2012 RDS gateway -Remote Desktop Gateway client fails authentication with “Your user account is not authorized to access the RD Gateway”

Server 2012

I have 3 servers which are in the same domain . I cannot connect admin though RDP to them . I get this error .
What am I missing . I can connect to the RDS gateway server itself and to desktops  though . What do I need to do to have access to the other servers on my network ?

Do you have any logs for the issue?  There could be a few reasons why you are getting that message.

Two things that have caused this for me in the past:

-The error may occur for the user account that belongs to the same domain as Remote Desktop Gateway

-While user accounts from the same domain’s (where Remote Desktop Gateway is located) have no issue, users from a child domain or a peer domain (within the same tree or forest) receive the error

Note .This is the domain administrator account which is having this issue .
There is it one domain no child or peers
simple domain. with a DC and RDS and an SBS2008 server which is to be removed after FSBO has been migrated

Which ones ?
Should I be looking in all of them ?
Am I looking on the client ? Which one on the client ?
On the server ?
What am I looking for ?
What could be the reason ?
There does not seem to be a pattern behind this issue .
Can you point to to a troubleshooting path ?
