No, it is not possible.  You would need to destroy the current RAID, add in the new HDDs and then create a new RAID.

There is no other way around this.

It depends on the RAID controller and usually also what options are included with it. But I don't recommend RAID 5, as that is a very unreliable type of RAID, and if you expand, or replace disks in the array it will be very likely that the array will fail and you end up with data loss.

So you should first backup, then add disks and change from RAID 5 to some other RAID (for example RAID 6. Then restore.

Most DL380 Gen9s have Smart Array P440ar which allows RAID array expansion and also RAID level migration on the fly, check what you have installed using Smart Storage Administrator and post a screenshot.

There's a howto at https://h20565.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?sp4ts.oid=397638&docId=emr_na-c03510253&docLocale=en_US , it uses the ACU rather than SSA but the process is the same. If you have no GUI available (e.g. VMware) then you can do the same using the hpacucli or by rebooting into intelligent provisioning during POST.

As Rindi says RAID 5 is outdated if you value your data but as you can change RAID level on the fly that shouldn't be a probem although you would have to buy an extra disk.
