You can also purchase a software exclaimer auto responser which does the job as well. Doesn't show auto reply on the subject

But how to I create a rule on a "Shared Mailbox" ?
Please enable the account for the shared mailbox, log on as that account, set the outlook rules given on following article than disable the account again and then check if the same is working or no

you can create transport rule that would reply to sender each time, or you can try something like this, which work as Outlook rule.
