HP Proliant Server Monitor (SNMP/SIM)
Need to monitor hardware alerts/failures. (memory/hard drives/RAID/Heat/NICs)
Have multiple servers running either VMWARE ESX or XenServer to virtualize our Windws Servers.
We run PRTG for monitoring.
PRTG has the module to monitor the HP server hardware but requires HP SIM to be installed.

HP documentation says to install it on the Windows Server...but I have nothing but Virtual Machines; none are physical
Googling hasn't turned up any good results. So here I am asking away...
I'm lost to be honest on how to accomplish the goal. Any pointers would be appreciated.

With the right VMware drivers that info should be available in esxi, which I believe prtg can monitor directly right?
