Best document control tools for controlling email, printing or locally downloading ?
Hi all,
What is the best tool to control documents in your environments ? Any good third party tools out there ? Or is AD RMS good enough to control all that ?
We have Exchange 2010 with AD functional modes on 2008 R2.
Thanks

What exactly are you asking, to be able to control where documents are stored (use AD and GPOs)? You can also use GPOs to determine where downloads are saved and who gets what printer(s). What controls do you want for emails?

Hi
I mean I need a way to put restrictions on documents which will take away rights from users such as emailing them or printing them ?

Are these documents people will be creating themselves, which they are allowed to change but which you don't want them to print and email? If so that is tough very tough to do.

No I mean that if an executive emails a classified internal memo to the entire company, he can put restrictions on that attachment word or pdf document that no one can forward or download or print that attachment or that email.
