Citrix Storefront, Netscaler and RSA Risk-based authentication (RBA)

We are in the process of migrating from XenApp 6.5 with Web Interface 5.0 to XenApp 7.x with Storefront 3.0. We've had RSA Risk-based authentication working on the Web Interface for years. Now, we are really struggling to get Storefront, Netscaler and RSA RBA working together. The documentation from RSA is pretty bad, and their support has been less than helpful so far.

Has anybody out there successfully configured this? Can you share some of your config files or other advice?

We eventually got this working with the help of RSA Support. Turns out their documentation was outdated.

We are pretty invested in the RBA platform right now, so switching to a new MFA platform is just not in the cards at the moment.
Understood. I actually worked pretty closely with a couple of folks at RSA specifically because their docs were lacking and the product itself had a couple of "holes" in it where they hadn't designed for a couple of very specific use cases. Glad that you were able to eventually get it working.

I would suggest that you take a look at the current Unified Gateway options as well as converting to nFactor-based authentication. This would also allow you to open up the ability to leverage the NetScaler as a SAML IdP for SaaS applications as well and leveraging your MFA setup with external systems.
