Android phone and Google contacts

I purchased a Pixel phone and added my Gmail account.  The phone automatically synced my contacts.  I don't want the Gmail, Google contacts.  I want to transfer my iPhone contacts because that's an up to date version of my contacts I wish to have in my phone.  I have since deleted contacts in Gmail and disabled auto add of contacts. However, the contacts sync feature under settings of the Pixel failed to update accordingly even when turning off/on the sync feature.  The contacts contain a recent sync time but same old lousy contacts.  Can anyone fill me in on why the contacts auto populate crap contacts?  How do I prevent those contacts from populating?

Excuse me for that question but if you think that your Gmail contacts are old, lousy and crap, why are you still keep them on Google ?
Just login to Gmail through website and delete them all.

I did.  It wasn't an issue until I switched to Android.  I have since deleted the contact in Gmail contacts from my web browser.  Then even went on the phone and did a factory defaults wipe of the phone, added the google account, and the contacts are still there?  WTH!!

Ok, I looked a bit more closely at the contacts Android pulled.  They are from my CRM.   I wouldn't mind those syncing to contacts if this situation doesnt drive me nuts.   I went into settings on the phone, accounts, and turned off contacts.  I'm waiting for the contacts to not sync and disappear from the phone.  Hopefully, my Samsung tablet doesn't push contacts back the other way.  I don't even know if it's even grabbing contacts but I digress.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Note for years now and I'm not comply :)
Just pay attention to what you doing and remember about linked accounts :)
ok, disabled Capsule CRM integration.   Contacts doesn't sync with circles.  THat's good.  I just deleted a bunch of unneccessary capsule crm contacts after sync was disabled and it synced with my phone w no issues.  Now I just need my sync from iphone to android to work and all will be well.

Ah man,  I ended up using this.  It's ok but like 20 number to copy over.  This all may be wasted time.  So far, I miss my old phone.  Love the new camera though.
It was the best way to go.
