LDAP search through mutiple lower OU's
I am trying to search an AD LDAP for "Phone Numbers"
I have been testing using Softerra LDAP Browser 4.5
I have set the base OU to OU=Base, DC=Domain, DC=com
Beneath their are about 4 other OU's which contain Users and contacts that have the "IP Phone" parameter set to the users extension
I have fond that if I set the filter to the default of (objectClass=*), it displays all objects in each OU
I was hoping to set the filter to (IpPhone=*) so it would only display those objects that have an extension configured in the IP Phone field on AD.
However I get nothing back
Now if I set the base OU to be OU=Location1, OU=Base, DC=Domain, DC=com
and the filter to (IpPhone=*)
I get all users that have the IpPhone parameter within the OU of Location1
So the issues is I can't seem to be able to get it to look through multiple lower level OU's if just searching on IpPhone
Hope this makes sense
Your help is certainly appreciated.

Thanks it worked.

It did indeed solve my problem.
I had crated a "New Profile" and gone into the properties of the Profile, but could not find where to specify the scope.
