In corporate environments you would use Windows Volume License, and then build a standard image which you would be able to quickly deploy to PC's using the m$ deployment tools (WAIK, MDT, SCCM). You don't replace disks and use the same setup again on another PC.

hello rindi,
I think you didn't understand....let me explain the situation
a VIP computer got USB ports problem...and it is motherboard problem...he need urgently solution
so changed complete unit of same model with old his harddisk
both computers are imaged with sccm...and volume license with kms
question ...will it make issue because SID or kms
You said you used a volume license, and the computers were the same, so you can move the hard drive. You might have to re-activate, but if the drivers worked, you should be fine.

As john reply if the hardware is not the same you will need to apply the proper drivers, but regarding SYSPREP or reactivation.  There is no need to do any of the two as long as the computer name remains the same.

AS I mentioned I did this many times in the past I had to do nothing other than rename the computer due to my method of computer naming convention.  If you are not renaming the computer just replace the drive, power it up and make sure that all drivers are proper.

No SYSPREP or reactivation needed for the KMS.

drivers are same because same model , and it works . but mac id changed and or system id . will it not effect some way ? if so in which functions on corporate ?
It should work fine.
Unless your MAC has a reservation in DHCP you are fine.  Regards to the SID that will not change since it is associated with the computer object in AD and there is nothing of the hardware that is recorded in AD that will affect anything regard AD.

Being that I have done this numerous times take my word for it that you will be fine.
