web surfing slughish
Built my own computer. ASUS board, AMD phenum ii X4 965 processor (I know it's old), 512GB SSD Samsung drive, 8GB ram.
I just got a new video card, ASUS Nvidia GT 710 and since then, it seems that when I'm doing anything on any web browser, it's a bit slower or slughish compared to my previous video card. This video card has 2GB ram, and my old one had only 512Mb ram.
This new one is fanless, as I wanted something that is silent, the old one was to loud.
Seems like my other applications open just fine without a delay.
Are there any tests or something I can do to see if my web surfing being slower is due to my video card or just the internet being slower.
I doubt it's the internet as it seems it's been doing this for the last few days since I replaced the video card.
Any ideas how to test this?

Did you completely remove the drivers for the previous display adapter?
ASKER
I didn't.
I just checked programs and features and it's not listed there, the old software. I just checked device manager, and under display adapter, the new card is listed, I don't see any reference to the old one.
Is there any other places where I should check?
