general question about new tv

General question:

What is everything that could go wrong with a new tv

maybe less pixels, not as bright

small things that I may not be looking for at first

Please tell me zones to add.

You are much more likely to get good answers if you could be more specific in your question.

There are an endless number of problems that could occur in a new TV; they are very complicated devices internally.  What is your real concern here?

Maybe you should just go and buy a 2nd hand, Vintage, non-smart TV. The modern SMART TV's, additionally to the old electrical/electronic problems of old dumb TV's, can also get viruses, malware, spyware etc. That is not possible with dumb TV's. The OS can also fail, or get out of support.

With an old Dumb TV you will just have to accept that you won't be able to use the modern features. You won't be able to connect your camera or USB stick and view your foto's on the TV directly (of course the resolutions on the old TV's would be too low to make this a wanted feature anyway).
