Digital Signboard - Bulletin Board - Software

I am looking for a software solution that would allow us to use a TV connected to a computer, to present a slideshow of sorts for company events, visitors in the office, employee birthdays, meeting dates..etc.

I would like to be able to update the "slides" quickly each day.

I think PowerPoint will take too much time to create a new presentation for each day.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I attempted a template, might not have done something right, it did not save my images, just the layout.

Now that you have the template (which is basically the background images -- like company logo, etc. -- and colors and text formatting, you can create a few slides. That's probably where you want to add the images. So close Master View, where you added the logo and background images, or click View | Normal. Now create some slides that you can change daily.

If you're not super-conversant with PowerPoint, you might want to hire someone to create the template and the initial set of slides that you can then update. Make sure you tell the person that you want to be able to update and make changes easily!
