Do you know where all the PST files are?
There are many third party tools (like the company I work for - Simply Migrate) that provide mechanisms to search, discover and migrate PST files to user mailboxes directly.
I guess these only need to get used when your PST dataset is too big to manage smoothely in a manual fashion.
What is the estimated size of your PST problem?

Thanks for the reply,
we have pst files mapped in windows system on e:drive/path and multiple pst files, all pst files put together is 74GB, have planned to push to office 365 exchange last one year PST which is of 13GB.
Please suggest is it recommended to migrate all pst files but huge size 74 GB or to migrate last one year.
also tired to add last one year pst file and indexing is taking very long time and not happening
thanks in advance

Hello D_Wathi
Right, 74GB is a tiny amount of data for migration to Office 365 (in Office 365 terms)
You should be able to use the method mentioned by Emmanuel Adebayo (and again by Kevin k)
If you used a tool like mine, we would be able to load that amount of data in under an hour (provided you have sufficient bandwidth).
That tells me that you are having some other issue impacting your ability to move the data, i am assuming that this issue is a bandwidth constraint issue. If this is the case, then the Azure copy method will be your best bet as it is a simple copy rather than multiple operations being carried out across the wire.
Another problem you may encounter is corrupted PST's so save yourself some future headache by dismounting PST's and running scanpst.exe on them before copying them to Azure. While this *may* not be necessary, it will save you a lot of hassle if you prevent even one corrupt file from being transferred.

Here are the steps required to import PST files to Office 365 mailboxes:
Step 1: Copy the SAS URL and install Azure AzCopy
Step 2: Upload your PST files to Office 365
(Optional) Step 3: View a list of the PST files uploaded to Office 365
Step 4: Create the PST Import mapping file
