You installed open-vm-tools-desktop ?<br />

That's all that is required, it's an additional package which provides more functions than just Open VMware Tools.

I have a file on my host I want to put in the Centos 6 Guest. &nbsp;My host is Windows 7 Pro. &nbsp;I have tools installed and I have restarted the guest since installing tools. &nbsp;When I drag from the host it shows a php file but when I drag it to the guest the php icon goes away and nothing is dropped in the guest.<br />

Please help me to get the drag and drop feature working.<br />
