hello, this is my first time trying esxi version 6.5. only worked with previous ones.<br />

esxi hypervisor was installed using EFI.<br />

when creating a new guest VM (windows srv 2016) and selecting EFI boot with or without secure boot option, the guest fails to boot in to the ISO to install the OS. i m able to install fee guest on esxi 6.0 with no issues.<br />

get a generic windows boot manager windows failed to start. file:\efi\Microsoft\boot\b<wbr />cd. &nbsp;Info: the boot configuration data for your pc is missing or contains errors.<br />

also tried some win 10 ISO i use for my efi physical workstations and that gave same error.<br />
<br />
I'm able to install the guest using BIOS option OK.<br />

what's preventing me from doing this?
