Server 2008 R2 Admin Shares not working locally or across the network
Hi
I have a Server 2008 R2 unit where i can no long browse c$.
I have set the "LocalAccountTokenFilterPo licy" to 1 and rebooted but still nothing.
I have checked that file sharing is turned on which it is as i cna browse normal shares.
The error im getting when browsing on the local server is:
\\servername\c$
The file cannot be accessed by the system.
Any ideas?

How do I look at the permissions of the admin shares?
Server Management > Roles > File Services > Share and Storage Management > Right click on the share in question > Permissions

Just to cover all bases- Have you looked at the permissions for that particular share?
