There no way to dot this online, when you save, directly convert to PDF

I want to achieve the above without downloading the file to my local PC in any shape or form. &nbsp;If I save some documents within a gmail to my Google Drive, and then want to convert it to / save it to the same folder a PDF, is there any way I can do this? &nbsp;I tried opening it as a google document and the only option I can see is &quot;download it as PDF&quot; but the problem with this is that it opens it in Adobe locally on my PC. &nbsp;I then have to resave the file locally before uploading it.
