Cannot create a homegroup on my computer

I am wanting to create a homegroup in my shop to connect my computers but when I attempt to do so I get a message saying that I need to have a private network in order to do so.  the computer is showing I have two networks, a private and a puplic. I don't know how this came to be and I need to know how to change it to the private network and do away with the public network.   I am sending the pics of the errors I am getting so you can see

That worked to uninstall th NIC and then re-boot.  I remember at one point in time I had this machine connected wirelessly and then remove the wireless card.  I guess the computer still had that configuration.  Thanks for your help
